This stage use [[Tech and glitches#HyperSpeed|Hyperspeed]] to get a big amount of speed throught the level. It is pretty hard to learn optimally without mistake. If you do a mistake you can always take the canon to get throught the end of the stage.

*The sequence of 6 jumps at the beginning is precise; memorize the raybow position and jump timings to land and jump off these exact raybows consistently. 7 jumps is possible and builds more speed, but going too fast can sacrifice consistency.

*After the initial 6 boosts there are 3 shield bees that need to be jumped over. After the first bee there are 3 safe raybows to land on. After the second bee there are 2 safe raybows to land on. After the third bee there is a gap immediately before the checkpoint platform. Make sure to land on the first raybow below the checkpoint platform - do not jump too high and land on the platform, or too low and fall through the gap.

It's possible to swap back to Marbles and recover speed to finish the level normally.

If you clip and go over the bonus you can continue jumping off the raybows under the wooden platforms and maintain speed to the end.

*Aim to bounce off the fourth pip (as demonstrated in the video). You may also bounce off the top of the pip wheel. Make sure to stay low to go under the cawbies, gliding if necessary.

*If you lose speed at this point it is faster to take the "barrel of shame" to skip the final platforming section (see video below). This loses about 6 seconds compared to maintaining speed.

*Pay close attention and memorize the enemy positions at the end, specifically the second, third and fourth sword bees which appear high, middle and high. Taking damage at the end is OK since you need Checkers in front for the next level, but you will need to recover your buddy which loses time.

*If you get bounced by the last shield bee you can glide and make it to the platform to finish the level.

With enough practice it is possible to get 19-20 consistently on this level. As a beginner, aim for mid 2X and don't worry about taking the barrel when needed.

Optimal

This is one of the most difficult levels in the game to run consistently. Lots of practice is required to memorize the platform locations and jump timings. Each time you jump off a raybow you get a boost. These can be chained to get hyper speed. Ideally you want to buffer attack and jump to do a small roll followed by a jump.

  • The sequence of 6 jumps at the beginning is precise; memorize the raybow position and jump timings to land and jump off these exact raybows consistently. 7 jumps is possible and builds more speed, but going too fast can sacrifice consistency.
  • After the initial 6 boosts there are 3 shield bees that need to be jumped over.
  • Do a small roll across the next 5 raybows followed by a small jump over the gap and another roll. The two rolls are safe and will bring you under the bees. Make sure the jump is very small or you will collide with the sword bee above. If you take damage here, Checkers can roll across the raybows and into the bubble. It's possible to swap back to Marbles and recover speed to finish the level normally.
  • You can get one more boost before reaching the wooden platform section. The forward-moving raybows usually stop spawning here, but if you are moving fast enough they will continue. Make sure to land high on the slanted platform so the next jump can clear the pip wheel. It is possible to clip through the sloped platform which can send you into the bonus. If you clip and go over the bonus you can continue jumping off the raybows under the wooden platforms and maintain speed to the end.
  • Aim to bounce off the fourth pip (as demonstrated in the video). You may also bounce off the top of the pip wheel. Make sure to stay low to go under the cawbies, gliding if necessary.
  • If you lose speed at this point it is faster to take the "barrel of shame" to skip the final platforming section (see video below). This loses about 6 seconds compared to maintaining speed.
  • Pay close attention and memorize the enemy positions at the end, specifically the second, third and fourth sword bees which appear high, middle and high. Taking damage at the end is OK since you need Checkers in front for the next level, but you will need to recover your buddy which loses time.
  • If you get bounced by the last shield bee you can glide and make it to the platform to finish the level.

With enough practice it is possible to get 19-20 consistently on this level. As a beginner, aim for mid 2X and don't worry about taking the barrel when needed.
