Optimal
For this boss, you wanna do the first section using the canon auto-fire. After you get out of the last canon you wanna dropdash jump as low as possible to barely reach the next section. You can then skip the boss by going over the boss cutscene triger with a quad jump then do some dropdash fail to scroll the screen until you see the goal post appear (you don't need to see the whole goal, just the first pixel of it at least).
